Feed rollers

KAMADUR supplies feed rollers for strand pelletizers used in masterbatch production compound processing and general polymer applications. We offer rubber covered rollers and steel rollers designed for stable feeding performance and long service life.

Rubber covered feed rollers

Rubber feed rollers can be supplied with different coverings depending on wear resistance and temperature requirements.

• HPR 2200 75° Shore A Normal wear resistance. Heat resistance approx. 140°C. Reference HPR. Color white or black. Suitable for masterbatch production.
• NBR Perbunan 85° Shore A Normal wear resistance. Heat resistance approx. 120°C. Reference EL01. Color red or green or blue. Suitable for general use.
• NBR high performance 85° Shore A Very high wear resistance. Heat resistance approx. 180°C. Reference EL24. Color white. Suitable for compounds with high filler percentage.

Roller recovery and coating

We recover and coat existing rollers to reduce cost and extend service life. The recovery process includes:

• Removal of worn or damaged rubber covering
• Preparation of the steel body for the vulcanizing process
• Vulcanizing of the new rubber covering onto the steel body
• Grinding of the roller to finished size

For steel feed rollers KAMADUR offers solutions that improve durability and feeding stability.

• Hardened or coated surfaces for increased wear resistance
• Grooved surfaces and cross knurled surfaces for improved grip
