Steel grades and cutting geometry

Our blades are produced in D2 (DIN 1.2379), M2 (DIN 1.3343), T42 (DIN 1.3207), PM CPM10V. SS 440C for applications requiring stainless steel. Cutting options include 45° and 90° angles, stepped bevels and curved or hooked profiles to match different materials and die-plate conditions. Each blade is designed for clean die-face cutting, consistent pellet size and long operating life even when:

• Processing soft materials with high MFI by reducing smearing and surface friction with stepped bevels
• The compound has a high % of GF or carbon content by increasing wear resistance with PM steel grades
• Pelletizing plastics for medical or food-grade applications by using high quality stainless steel grades
• Cutting micro-pellets with our custom made and tested bevel designs
• The OEM design does not allow efficient blade changes
