The main advantages of sharpening die plates in our European Service Center are:
Reduction of dust, fines and incorrect pellet shapes
Easy, quick and correct set-up of pelletizer knives against a flat surface
Longer lifetime between sharpenings
Longer overall lifetime of die plates due to limited metal removal
Lower cost over lifetime of die plates
Die plates reground include coated, nitrated and with tungsten carbide segments (HM). Plates can be coated and nitrated afterwards when necessary.
