KAMADUR knives for Forrec machines are manufactured from the high-quality 1.2379 (D2) material with CNC technology and are thermally treated in state-of-the-art ovens. They undergo a triple hardening process to ensure optimum microstructure, which makes them exceptionally wear-resistant, tough and strong. For longer life when machining reinforced materials, we also offer knives with a carbide insert, which can increase durability up to 10 times compared to traditional D2 steel.
